Wonderful dialogue. I definitely think your caps around conversations are excellent, especially when you include a mental shift like this one at some point in the cap. Because your writing is so strong it makes the character's personalities shine through, so when they 'snap' and change you can see the shift even more which enhances the sense of transformation.
ReplyDeleteDialogue caps are tricky but it gives it a more cinematic feel and it's fun to get the character's perspectives and have them tell the story. Even though Jill has something preventing her from getting all her words out...not that she minds ;-)
